Dave March is a local singer/songwriter, guitarist, vocalist, and bass player. A fixture in the Long Island music scene, Dave can be found performing at local venues, breweries, and wineries.
Dave is a founding member of critically-acclaimed folk rock ensemble, Miles to Dayton. His influences include Van Morrison, Johnny Cash, Ray LaMontagne, The Beatles, Wilco, and many more.
He plays all styles of music from Country, to Folk, to Rock and Roll. His repertoire ranges from the 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, 00s to today.

Dave has played bass with family band, Miles to Dayton for over 20 years. M2D draws influences from Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young, John Prine, and the Beatles.
The band features Dave's sister, Krista Preddice on lead vocals, Krista's husband and songwriter extraordinaire Jonathan Preddice on guitar/lead vocals, and Jon's sisters, Leanne Strom and Alisa Rabbitt on vocals, violin and mandolin.
In 2012, Miles to Dayton received critical acclaim for their folk/rock album "Pass it On," opening the door for many headlining performances as well as supporting slots opening for Southside Johnny & The Asbury Jukes, Levon Helm's Dirt Farmer Band, The Infamous Stringdusters, Rhett Miller, and Jorma Kaukonen.
Miles to Dayton remains active, with plans to release new music in early 2026.
